Official communications and public-facing messaging for a leading telecom brand — senior, low-volume, high-trust.
About the role
BRNDS21 is expanding its embedded studio with a PR capability for a major telecom account. We are looking for an experienced PR / communications professional on a fractional basis: someone who can draft official letters and public statements, prepare spokespeople for interviews and public appearances, and keep messaging sharp and on-brand.
This is a senior, low-volume, high-trust role.
What you'll be doing
- Draft official letters, statements and public communications on behalf of the client, for approval before release.
- Prepare briefings and talking points for interviews and public appearances.
- Align all messaging with the brand's voice, positioning and sensitivities.
- Advise on communication around sensitive or high-visibility moments.
- Work directly with BRNDS21's Creative Director — every piece is reviewed before it goes out.
Requirements
- Proven PR or corporate communications experience — you have written statements that carried real weight.
- Excellent formal writing in Dutch and English.
- Judgment: you know what a brand should not say, and when to slow down.
- Familiarity with the Surinamese media and business landscape.
- Availability for a limited number of hours per month, with responsiveness when timing matters.
